Prepare for the ACT or SAT! As a senior, you have two, or possibly three remaining opportunities to test. Refer to ACT/SAT test dates listed at the end of this newsletter. There is test information posted in the high school hallway as well. Plan a college tour of the college/university you are interested in. The college visit can play a significant role in your college decision. Research and apply for scholarship opportunities. There will additional information provided at the end of this newsletter for helpful websites.College representatives will be coming to visit with seniors during the last class period and some may visit during lunch hour. The High School office has a variety of resource books and pamphlets to help assist you in college planning. Come by and check it out! Fight senioritis! You have worked hard for three years and it is important to finish strong. Keep your GPA up and focus on the task a head. You can do this!

It is never too early to begin attending one or several of the college fairs/events in your local area. Ms. Webb will update this information site as future dates arise. Your grades are very important! They are part of your permanent record. You are building the foundation for you academic record this year. You can earn scholarship money every year you are in high school through Kentucky Education Excellence Scholarship program (KEES) if your grades are high enough. Stay balanced.
